Dominic Randell of Responsive Personnel is sharing how December has been for business

December is almost over and we’re getting ready to celebrate another year. We’ve been talking to small businesses about how December is for them.

Up today is Dominic Randell who is business development manager at Responsive Personnel.

What does December mean for your business?
December is one of our busiest times of year. Providing a lot of staff into fulfilment centres and parcel sorting companies we are on call 24/7 to make sure clients have all they need to run as smoothly as possible through the festive period! 

Could almost say we provide Santa’s helpers!! 

Give us a flavour of your highlights of 2023.
2023 has been a successful year at Responsive Personnel, I started my new role within Responsive Personnel and we have employed new members of staff across the industrial and commercial sector. 

Obtaining contracts and assisting with the growth of national furniture delivery company 

Expanding our service area to the surrounding areas of Swindon 

Would you like to thank anyone who has been especially helpful to you throughout this year? 
I would like to thank all of our brilliant clients and candidates who have worked with us through 2023 and will continue to do so in 2024.

Have you done anything for charity or your community this year?
We are a proud sponsor of the local Ice Hockey team, the Swindon Wildcats. When the bad weather hit the Link Centre and wiped out all of their facilities we partnered up with them to have them in our office for the final quarter of 2023. Local community is important to us and helping them was a no brainer. We look forward to seeing them playing at the Link Centre again and the Responsive team will be there to cheer them on!

What has been your proudest moment in 2023?
A career change and transition into recruitment from an estate agency was a highlight of 2023 for myself. 

The other moment would be purchasing my first home which is always a good milestone to reach!
