1. What is the purpose of your new division in Responsive Personnel?

The purpose of the estate agency sector is to ensure good candidates are being placed in the best roles for themselves. We spend time finding the right candidates for the clients to ensure both sides are happy. - SM

The purpose of the new estate agency division is to provide top talent into business’ looking to grow or fill current vacancies, initially launching in Swindon, Reading and Bristol the plan is to roll this out through the UK. - DR

2. What prompted the development of your new division?

Dom had worked in estate agency for 10 years and moved over to recruitment. Danny wanted to open up a new sector of the business and with the knowledge that Dom had it was the right route to go down. - SM

I met with Danny Kimber as I was between roles and discussed the current setup of Responsive Personnel and the areas of recruitment. Danny wanted to grow the business and open a new sector and my background of estate agency made it the sensible choice to go down that avenue. - DR

3. How are Estate Agencies and Property going to fit into the sectors you already provide service for?

The sector that estate agency fits into the most is Commercial as a lot of the roles are office and admin based. It allows both sectors to work alongside eachother potentially using the same cadndiates for different job roles depdning on which one suits the better. - SM

The property division of the business will cross over mainly with commercial side of current business with office staff being provided across all sectors. This will open new doors for candidates and give clients a bigger pool of staff to choose from. - DR

4. How will you take into account specific needs for each client, to ensure customer satisfaction?

By finding out exactly what the client is looking for from the beginning to ensure no time is wasted. Being from the estate agency background we know the roles and what the roles entitles but every agency is different so may look for something different. Customer service is massive in recruitment and estate agency so we need to ensure the communication is there to ensure the right candidate is placed. - SM

Customer service and satisfaction is something we pride ourselves on. More than just putting someone into a job we want the right person in the right job, someone that will really make a difference to the company they are joining. This all starts from the initial contact with any clients and really getting to know their current culture and making sure we understand exactly who they are looking for. - DR

5. What differentiates Responsive Personnel’s recruitment solutions from other businesses in your industry?

The team who are dealing with the estate agency sector have worked in the industry in both sales and lettings so have very good understandings of the roles and what the clients are looking for. We have both been in the same position as the client and candidate so can see it from both sides and support both sides in the recruitment process. - SM

The main difference is that we have both worked in the estate agency world for a combined 15 years. This will always give us a better understanding of each individual job role when it comes to clients needs. From a candidate perspective we have also been where they are, we understand the highs, lows and frustration which may make people look for a new role and what differences they are looking for. - DR

6. How will you maintain the growth of this new division?

The main goal is to grow the business and work in different loactaions helping clients all over the UK. The way we will be doing this is by building each section as we go and then employing more staff from the estate agency background to look after that area. - SM

We have big plans with this divison and this is just the beginning for it all. Looking to build this up to a national basis and supply staff for estate agencies up and down the country. To maintain and succeed with this we will be looking to expand the team but keeping the USP of estate agency experience throughout to make sure we are still servicing clients in the best way.
