Swindon Hub is raising £5,000 to help Heat the Hub over winter
The Swindon Hub has today launched a fundraising drive that aims to raise £5,000 by the end of November which will be used to keep the lights and heating on over the winter.
Swindon Hub’s aim for the coming months is to keep supporting the local community, by keeping its doors open and heating on. This will allow the hub to keep a safe and warm environment for all, organise more events that promote local shops, host a range of activities and workshops, and keep its café open.
Based in the old River Island building in the heart of Swindon Town Centre, The Swindon Hub which opened in November 2021 is a safe and accessible space for the community to meet, work, play, discuss, learn and share resources.
All donations made as part of the fundraising campaign will be used to cover the cost of gas and electricity over the winter months.

“The Swindon Hub is all about making a difference to our community and is run completely by volunteers.
“Any money raised will contribute towards our efforts to keep the lights and heating on over the winter so we can continue to provide a safe space for people to socialise, network and participate in activities”.
