Calne IT firm Black Nova Designs doubles office space for 2121 after a record 2020

Calne-based website design and IT company Black Nova Designs is pleased to announce that, following unprecedented expansion in 2020, the company is expanding its office space at the Portemarsh Industrial Estate. The move comes ahead of exciting new plans for further growth in its service offering planned for later in 2021. Black Nova will take over space vacated by Jesters Adventure Play from the beginning of February, doubling their office capacity and adding a kitchen and meeting room.

The move will provide Black Nova with a larger, more flexible workspace for their staff, enabling effective social distancing even as their numbers have grown. The team, which includes expertise in website design and hosting, Wi-Fi installation and CCTV networks, grew from employing 3 staff (in addition to co-founders Kyle and Danielle Holmes) to employing 5 staff during 2020. The expansion also gives the company a large professional-standard meeting room with TV, webcam, guest Wi-Fi and full network security. The meeting room will also function as a training space and will be available for hire, marking a new phase in Black Nova’s growth.

We will be launching WordPress training days later in the year and simply having a professional space for meetings will aid our growth. Of course, we are sad to see our neighbours Jesters Adventure play moving on, but the move has given us the chance to keep our business moving forward despite the Covid-19 pandemic.”
