March Talk with Rachel Weaven

It’s March! The first month of Spring, and the month when the clocks go forward. What’s going on in the world of business this month! We're talking to Rachel Weaven who is an HR Consultant for face2faceHR based in Wiltshire. Rachel works hard with clients to understand their business and to support with practical HR solutions.

How is March looking for you in your business? 
It's looking really great, I am doing lots of recruitment for my clients which is showing growth for them. I'm also off on a retreat for a couple of days to focus on the growth and direction of my business.

Are you taking part in any wider events or business collaborations this month? 
I am hosting Business Buzz in Swindon on 17th March at Hilton Doubletree Hotel from 10 - 12 - as I'm the town's host for this event. Do email me if you'd like more information. 

This month it’s International Women’s Day is this important for you? 
International Women's Day is a big one for me as it's something I believe in. Since launching my own business and taking the plunge to 'do my own thing my way' I've been surrounded by some awesome and truly inspirational women that are supporting me and helping me grow. I'm incredibly grateful for that. 

It's also Mother's Day this month. What are your thoughts around this? 
My Mum is my best friend, being an only child I have an extremely strong bond with both my parents and we spend a lot of time together. 

She also has an incredible bond with my two daughters and is a fantastic grandmother. I hope to be as wonderful as she is. 

In the yearly cycle of your business – what do you expect during March? 
I will be planning for Quarter 2 and setting out the goals I am looking to achieve.
