January is in full swing and we’ve been talking to small businesses about their plans for 2024.

Today we’re talking to Daniel Thomas, the director of Steilea, who supports businesses with their website design, app creation and graphic design.

What big things are you looking forward to in 2024?
Personally I’ve got tickets to the Olympics in Lyon in 2024 and am looking forward to visiting! From a professional point of view, I’d like to free up mine and other business owners’ time by offering automated professional solutions. 

Can you share your business ethics for 2024? How do you want your brand to come across?
We will support local charities by offering a set amount of time every month to support the technical elements of small local charities. We’ve already started working with 2 charities this year!

What are you planning to do differently or better in 2024?
We’re looking to provide total “new business” packages, providing web design, investment and automation to ambitious entrepreneurs looking to start out for the first time.

What are you doing for charity or community this year?
We’re supporting 2 local charities currently with the view to support local youth clubs.

This year will be a big year of sport – most notably the Olympics and Paralympics. If you enjoy these events can you name those moments you watched/experienced which have stayed with you?
I’m a big football fan and love the world cup and euro’s. I’m lucky enough to have tickets to 3x football events at this year's Olympics.

There are multiple ‘awareness’ days & weeks & months in January 2024. Could you pick just one and say why you’ll be engaging with it? 
Data Privacy Day – For us as a business it’s the most important subject. We believe we have a very good data privacy policy and protections in place to deal with customer data. We’ll be using this date to review our processes and improve if we feel necessary.
