Wyvern Theatre Summer Youth Project 2023 announced!

We’re off to see the Wizard! This Summer, the Wyvern Theatre will take the Yellow Brick Road as they welcome back their beloved Summer Youth Project with the magical production of The Wizard of Oz!

The Summer Youth Project is the perfect way to get a taste for the world of musical theatre, allowing 200 young people to produce and perform 5 full-scale performances with the help of a professional creative team and live band!

The Wyvern Theatre are looking for enthusiastic, committed, and talented young people, aged 9-21, to take part in this all-singing, all-dancing, musical extravaganza.

Auditions will be open to anyone aged 9-21 and technical opportunities available for ages 16-26. Too old to participate? Join in on this Over The Rainbow production as a Chaperone!

The team are always looking for licensed chaperones or those with a DBS certificate that would like to become a chaperone, to help with the Summer Youth Project.

If you are interested, please contact the SYP producer (details below). With a large cast and a wide variety of roles, we can’t wait to welcome back some familiar faces as well as discovering some brand-new performers too.
