Roves Farm

About: Roves Farm is always going to be a firm favourite day out of ours because of how family-friendly it is. Whether your child loves petting the animals, running wild on the soft play or riding the tractor, there’s going to be an activity they’ll love getting stuck into, making it easy to spend an entire day there! There is also a farm shop and cafe on site selling a range of local produce so you're not likely to go hungry throughout the day!

National Trust Properties

About: We love the National Trust. They provide us with beautiful stately homes and awe-inspiring history we may not have known about if they didn’t help preserve these precious landscapes for us all to see. They also run a whole range of children’s activities during the holidays and have cafes/tea rooms to keep you hydrated and energised throughout the day, making it the perfect family day out.

Kelmscott Manor

About: Does the name William Morris ring a bell? The famous textile designer, poet and novelist called Kelmscott Manor home for many years. He loved his Cotswold retreat and now…you can visit and have a look around yourself! Explore the fascinating collections on show, let the kids enjoy the fun family activities and enjoy a pitstop in the tea room for a brew and delicious cake!

Westonbirt Arboretum

About: Westonbirt Arboretum truly is an experience everyone should be able to enjoy as a child. Explore the magical forest of 2,500 different species of trees, take in the stunning views from the tree-top walk and get stuck into the family art and crafts! There are plenty of fun nature trails to keep children occupied around the Arboretum and even the opportunity to meet the Gruffalo!

Cotswold Water Park

About: Cotswold Water Park is a hit with walkers, couples and families alike. Their fantastic man-made beach, play area, lakes, café, Total Wipeout style inflatable waterpark and South Cerney Outdoor water-sport activities make it a brilliant place to spend the entire day without getting bored. The younger children can enjoy playing in the sandpit and on the slides whilst older children can try their hand on the inflatable waterpark!
