Eat With Confidence At The Campanile Hotel

The Campanile Hotel is the first hotel in Swindon to receive the "Eat With Confidence Award" from Swindon Borough Council.

The West Swindon based restaurant is open 7 days a week and serves a traditional British and French inspired menu.

The Eat With Confidence scheme sets new standards for food businesses to achieve, and is aimed at encouraging consumers to look for and spend money with businesses who are part of it.

All businesses displaying the Eat With Confidence logo will need to have achieved the highest food safety standard of five stars under the National Food Hygiene rating scheme, pass a rigorous audit, and have a record of good customer service with few complaints.

Environmental health officer Katherine Walters said: “Our aim with this scheme is to highlight the best of the best places to eat in Swindon. To qualify, the food outlets not only have to achieve five stars in health inspection but must also have achieved a high level of customer service.”
