Describe your job role

I perform the role of ‘Sales Director’ managing all aspects of buying or selling a home through Domus Estate Agents. Clients selling their property through Domus will have direct contact with me for support, advice and feedback following viewings etc.

 

What’s your favourite aspects of your position?

Helping our vendors achieve the successful sale of their property. Performing well for our clients and receiving positive feedback. Knowing you have done a good job is very rewarding. We aim to make to process as stress free as possible!!

 

What are your next steps for you in your career?

To continue to grow the Domus brand and become a household name in and around the Swindon area becoming the ‘go to’ estate agent when you want to sell.

 

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

I would have to say the birth of my two daughters, I may not be saying that in a few years though! In addition to setting up Domus Estate Agents. 

 

How do you spend your free time?

If I’m not relaxing or running around a play park with my girls, you’ll most likely find me on a golf course or cheering on Leicester City. 

 

When faced with two equally-qualified candidates, how do you determine whom to hire?

In this industry personality is extremely important along with the ability to develop and build relationships with clients and other professionals. 

 

What is one characteristic that you believe every leader should possess?

Patience. 

 

What is the biggest challenge facing leaders today?

Dealing with the pressures of operating a company within an already competitive market place. 

What advice would you give someone going into a leadership position for the first time?

Have the courage to be firm but fair at the same time. Also, Listen.
