PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town (1) v (1) Plymouth Argyle

SWINDON TOWN drew 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle after Joel Grant's equaliser cancelled out Eoin Doyle's opener. An entertaining first-half was followed by a poor second 45 from Town. Total Sport Swindon's Rajan Hothi gave his player ratings.

GK: Steven Benda (7)

Making his first league start for Swindon, the on-loan Swansea 'keeper did brilliantly to keep the score level just a couple of minutes before half-time. A smart stop denied Zak Rudden from breaking the deadlock. The 21-year-old settled in nicely between the sticks for Town, but couldn't do much for the equaliser.

LB: Dion Donohue (7)

After being announced just a couple of hours prior to kick-off, Donohue slotted in at left-back in the place of the injured pair of Iandolo and Fryers. Did a good enough job but needs more minutes in the tank.

CB: Gabriel Zakuani (6)

Pairing up with Baudry for the first time this season, Zakuani looked a little shaky at times with a few poor passes inviting trouble for the Town back-line, but was solid enough at the back.

CB: Mathieu Baudry (6.5)

On his return from injury, Baudry took the captaincy in the place of Conroy and slotted in nicely back into the Swindon defence. The Frenchman did well to clear any crosses into the box which is something Town have missed in recent games.

RB: Rob Hunt (7)

As ever, Hunt was involved in a lot of Town attacks and dealt well with crosses into the Swindon box. Another solid performance from the 24-year-old who has settled in well since his arrival in the summer.

LM: Keshi Anderson (6)

Occasionally looked a threat down the left with his pace and power, and played a vital role in the opener with his run and pass into Yates. Was replaced by Michael Doughty after going down with an injury for the second time.

CM: Jordan Lyden (7)

Returned to the starting XI following a long injury lay-off and did brilliantly in the middle of the park alongside Grant. Lyden grabbed an assist for the opener with a fantastic timed pass into the path of Doyle who made no mistake.

CM: Anthony Grant (8)

Put in an impressive showing with Lyden in midfield. His passing started a number of Town attacks and the Shrewsbury-loanee didn't shy away from a challenge. Could be worth trying to secure the services of the tough-tackling midfielder on a permanent basis in January.

RM: Lloyd Isgrove (6)

Put a couple of fantastic deliveries in the box for Doyle in the first-half as Isgrove looked a threat, but he did look to be carrying a knock. Had a decent enough game, before being replaced by Woolery following Argyle's equaliser.

ST: Jerry Yates (6)

Was involved in a great team move for the opening goal and tirelessly pressed the Argyle defence. Did sometimes want too much time on the ball, and wasn't very effective today.

ST: Eoin Doyle (7)

Did well to win several flick-ons, but could've put Swindon ahead after 18 minutes though his header just went wide of Alex Palmer's post. However, he took his first brilliantly as he dinked Palmer to put Town 1-0 up on the stroke of half-time. Did play a few poor passes in the second-half and looked leggy.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

Michael Doughty (6)

Didn't do too much after coming on. Kept things ticking, but didn't have the desired impact.

Kaiyne Woolery (6)

Came on after Plymouth's equaliser and had a chance to put Town back ahead but his effort went wide.
