Customers at Swindon motor dealership Pebley Beach can expect a pressure-free welcome from new showroom host Trina Whelehan.

Trina is not a member of the sales team at the dealership, but knows plenty about the cars – and is happy to share her knowledge about the Hyundai and Suzuki ranges and dispense general motoring advice.

"No-one likes to feel pressured when they walk into a car showroom," said Trina. "So I'm here to answer general questions about the customer's needs, whether it's about the size and style of car they want to own, or – increasingly – about their fuel choice: diesel, petrol, hybrid, or full electric.

"I can even take them for a test drive."

If the customer needs more technical information, or when they're ready to make a purchase, Trina can hand them over to an expert from the sales team.

Trina job shares with colleague Kellie Battman. Both are mums to young children, and the flexibility suits them.

"I had to give up working full-time when Max was born three years ago," said the Swindon born and bred 33-year-old, who joined the company in January.

"It's great to be back in a work environment and I love my job here. Everyone is so lovely and it's a family-friendly environment."
