It's the perfect place for a relaxing summer day out and is open seven days week from 9.30am until 7pm (last entry at 6.30pm) from early June until October – however sometimes hours do need to change temporarily, call their farm hotline on 01793 790137 to double check before you set off.
Lots To Do
With acres of space for kids to run around in, there’s lots to see and do. There’s a nature trail that leads to a small lake, a small animal enclosure perfect for younger children, a play area with climbing frames, swings and slides, and the dairy parlour where you can watch the cows being milked every afternoon from the visitors’ gallery.
Please note: a small fee is charged for combined entrance to the play area, nature trail, small animal enclosure and dairy parlour. Lotmead Farm’s £25 annual family pass is the most cost-effective way to visit, giving families of up to two adults and three children unlimited visits across the summer. Click here for details.
Pick Your Own
As well as strawberries, across the season Lotmead offers a great choice of seasonal soft fruits and vegetables including raspberries, gooseberries, sweet blackcurrants, asparagus, potatoes, courgettes, runner beans, sweetcorn, spinach and beetroot at normally cheaper than typical supermarket prices. So good in fact, it’s one of the best in Britain - Lotmead won FARMA's ‘Pick Your Own’ of the Year competition in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and we finalists in 2019 too!
To find out exactly what’s available to pick every day, Lotmead has a farm hotline – just call 01793 790137. There is a redeemable prepayment for picking soft fruit. Click here to find out more.

It also serves a tasty variety of hot and cold snacks, beverages, salads and sandwiches all freshly prepared each day as well as home-baked cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and juices.
