Tried & Tested: Jaino Nail & Beauty

Beauty blogger Emily Griffin gave Jaino Nail & Beauty's fabulous 21 Day Manicure the Tried & Tested Treatment. Here's what she thought:

I am a huge fan of nail colour and nail art, so when I was asked to review Jaino Nail and Beauty I was really excited.

Jaino Nail and Beauty is run by the lovely Sharon – who has a wealth of expertise under her belt having trained with O.P.I and also being fully trained on the gorgeous Gelish range.  Jaino Nail and Beauty offer a whole host of treatments including spray tanning, pamper parties and of course an array of nail treatments.

As soon as you walk into the door you are welcomed into a gorgeous nail studio. Sharon greeted me with a warm and friendly smile and gave me a tour of her salon. Sharon has a fantastic nail bar that stretches almost the length of the room - with a really modern but inviting design.

Sharon really is exceptionally talented, and this really shows with her passion and dedication to her profession. I was opting for a Gelish manicure with nail art, and when Sharon offered me her colour ring to browse I could not believe the variety on offer. If you can think of a colour then Sharon has it. She has really invested a lot into making sure every option is available for her clients.

Sharon offers a range of free hand designs, stamps, jewels and much, much more. I picked a lovely pink shade in ‘Pink Smoothy’ and a white lace effect stamp on my nail tips.

Sharon cleaned and shaped my nails prior to the application of the Gelish polish. She explained how with Gelish, and other gel polishes, (that are set by UV light and last AGES), preparing the nail is the most important part. At Jaino Nails they do not use electric drill files, that are notoriously bad and damaging to your natural nail, instead she files, shapes and buffs each nail by hand to ensure the perfect base.  Sharon was really friendly and was a pleasure to talk to as she pampered over my nails.

Sharon was a real perfectionist when she did the nail design. She took time to make sure each nail looked perfect. She used a stamp with white polish in a vintage lace design to create the look I was after. I was so happy with the results – they looked amazing I was really impressed. They were perfectly finished and the design was wonderful.

The Gelish manicure if often referred to as a 21 day manicure, and I am happy to say, with the time and effort that Sharon put in to my manicure, it lasted over the three weeks with no chipping.

Sharon offers an amazing range of colour, techniques and embellishments. If you are looking to get your nails done to a highly professional standard, that last, by a really talented and friendly Salon then Jaino Nails and Beauty is top on my list to recommend.
