Snapped: Swindon 10K 2013

In spite of the dreary weather, a record number of runners turned out for the 6th annual Swindon 10K on Sunday. Race Director Stephen Goulding predicted in his pre-race speech that the still conditions would produce some fast times, and he certainly wasn't wrong; with the top 50 finishers all completing the course in under 40 minutes and achieving personal bests. Zachary Randall pulled away in the last 400 metres to take 1st place in the men's race with a time of 32.25 while the women's race was won by Stroud AC’s Jane Wassell in a time of 38.16.
