Snapped: Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club Hosts Weekend of Celebrations

It was party time in Royal Wootton Bassett over the weekend as residents held a three-day celebration to mark the opening of the towns £1.3m rugby clubhouse. Celebrations began with a parade through the High Street led by a marching band, before the festivities concluded at Ballards Ash, where a very special guest cut the ribbon to make the official opening. Visitors were entertained by a military fly-past, fairground rides and live music as well as a classic car display, plus many other attractions. The action didn't stop there though, before the ground was christened with two matches, a team of parachutists delivered the match ball to the ground from the skies.
