Swindon Recital Series - 25th Anniversary Celebration

A celebration of 25 years of amazing live concerts - an exuberant jazz-based programme. Highlights of the programme are the inimitable Clare McCaldin who will bring Edith Sitwell’s colourful poetry to life in Walton’s Façade and Paul Turner who will perform Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue in a specially commissioned arrangement by Ed Puddick. In addition Clare will also perform ‘The History of the Thé Dansant’ by Richard Rodney Bennett, Hayley Lambert (saxophone) will play the Shulhoff ‘Hot Sonate’ and Tom Griffiths will play the Harry James trumpet concerto. Concert begins 7.30pm, ends about 9.15pm.
Tickets £20, students £2.50, accompanied children 14 and under free. £1.50 booking fee per ticket applies.
