The classic Nintendo racing game, Mario Kart will be 20 years old this year, and to celebrate, Swindon's Museum of Computing is holding a superb family gaming day on Saturday 14th April.
Visitors can try their hand at every Mario Kart console game in the series, all on the original Nintendo hardware, from the SNES through the N64, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance, Wii, DS and 3DS.
This wacky racing game which is recognized as one of the greatest game series of all time is being celebrated throughout the day with three exciting competitions:

- 3DS Multiplayer Competition: 1.30pm - 4.00pm
During the first competition participants will play three Mario Kart titles to achieve their best total score, starting with the original Super Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo. The player with the highest score will be crowned the museums ‘Super Mario Kart Mayhem Champion’.
