Local Beauties Battle it Out to be Crowned Miss Wiltshire

On Sunday 27th April, the Miss Wiltshire and Miss Swindon finals will take place at the De Vere Village Hotel.

In a bid to modernise the pageant and overcome the sexist stereotype often associated with the event the Bikini Round has been replaced with the Sportswoman round. 

The Miss Wiltshire finalists will be taking part in their very own Bootcamp to get ahead of the other counties and bring that Miss England crown back to Wiltshire.

The Bootcamp will be happening on the 26th April at Kiss Gyms and is being run by ‘Beauty and the Beast Personal Training’, which is owned by Hannah Golding, a past Miss Swindon who is currently representing England at the Face of the Globe International finals. Members of the public are invited to come and see the Miss Wiltshire contestants work hard to become Miss Wiltshire, through blood, sweat and tears!

The finals are being run by former Miss Swindon 2012/2013 Ela Good, “I am so excited to see the girls on the night, they have all worked so hard in the run up to the competition and I am sure we will finish the show with 2 very worthy winners.

We are looking for someone who is; beautiful, on the inside as well as the outside, has a passion for their town and community, is friendly, charitable, sporty and has the drive to make a name for herself and the county. We know what it takes to become the next Miss England and the winners will have our support and guidance throughout the stages, as well as help from our sponsors including hair care by Goldsworthy’s salon, personal training by ‘Beauty and the Beast Personal Training’ and make-over’s by Lifestyle Health and Beauty, to ensure they get the best out of the competition.”

The winner of Miss Swindon will go through to the semi-finals in 2015 and Miss Wiltshire will get the chance to compete in this year’s Miss England finals.
