New College School Leavers' Open Day

The doors of New College Swindon will be open between 10am and 2pm to welcome prospective students and their parents to its school leavers’ Open Day on Saturday 10th October.

Staff and students from all areas will be on hand to talk about every aspect of college life including course options, enrichment opportunities, transport, student finance, overall support and much more.

This summer, 43% of New College students achieved A*, A or B grades in Level 3 qualifications, the highest percentage for the last five years, and 29 students achieved 3 A grades or more.

Students can choose from 55+ different A Levels which range from English to World Development, and a whole host of language courses including Italian, Spanish, German and French. There’s also a wide range of vocational subject areas which include Public Services, Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care and Sport.

The event is also a great opportunity to view the fantastic facilities on offer at New College which include: Library, Open Learning Centre, Theatre, Dance studios, Salons, Sports Centre, Restaurant, Enrichment Centre, all with access to over 1600 computers, PCs and Macbooks across the College.
