New College Adult Open Evening

On Thursday 5th July, New College Swindon will be holding an Adult Open Evening, from 5-7pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to pick up a copy of the brand new Autumn part-time brochure and find out more about the exciting new courses on offer.

The dedicated part-time team will be on hand to offer advice and guidance. Attendees will have the opportunity to find out more about Access and HE degree level courses and also find out if they are eligible for the 19+ Advanced Learner Loan.

New College now offer a range of HE courses from Hospitality Management, Cyber Security and Public & Emergency Services, to Health and Social Care, Sports Coaching and Development and Textiles.

Sharron Jennings who recently completed a HND in Textiles commented: “The Textiles HND course at New College has given me the chance to learn and build on my skills, with the incredible support of the lecturers. I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in some great activities too, including a competition to design the Christmas window for the National Trust flagship store in Swindon. I was delighted to win this competition and have my work displayed for others to enjoy. After completing my studies with New College, I hope to go on to do a top up degree in either Constructive Textiles or Costuming.” 

Alana Smith who studied the Part-time Novelty Cake Decorating course said: “The course was incredible and taught me so much about cake decorating over ten weeks. Rachel who taught us every Wednesday evening was amazing! She truly made the course fun and enjoyable, she also made herself available after hours to answer any questions we had.”
