Swindon Town have confirmed the departure of Technical Director Sandro Di Michele

Swindon Town have confirmed that Technical Director Sandro Di Michele has departed the club after one year in charge.

Di Michele joined Swindon on 6th June 2022 having never previously held a senior role at a football club, but had been involved with recruitment at Wigan Athletic.

This marks the third departure in two days after head coach and assistant head coach Jody Morris and Ed Brand left their posts yesterday and shows a large shake-up following a disappointing season in League Two.

A statement on the club's website was made up of 48 words.

The statement read: "Swindon Town can confirm Sandro Di Michele has left his role as Technical Director at the football club.

"We would like to place on record our thanks to Sandro for his hard work and contribution during his time with us, and wish him well in his future endeavours."
