Swindon Town defender Raphael Rossi-Branco linked to Boavista

Swindon's Brazilian defender, Raphael Rossi-Branco, has emerged as a target for Portuguese Premier League outfit Boavista.

Portuguese outfit 'Record' indicate Branco is set to complete a free transfer to Boavista, who finished ninth in the Primeira Liga.

Branco is out of contract in the summer so could leave Swindon for nothing after four seasons with the Robins.

He joined from non-league Whitehawk in 2013 and has always been a semi-regular for Town, playing a part in both the 2015 play-off final season, as well as last season's relegation from League One.

The Brazilian played over 100 times for Town and scored six goals.

Branco has been offered a new deal at Swindon, but he has not signed anything at press time.
