Swindon Town announce the signing of defender on loan from Burnley

Swindon Town have confirmed the capture of Burnley defender Benn Ward on a season long loan from the Premier League club.

The 19-year-old has been in the youth set-up with the Clarets  and signed a contract which keeps him at Turf Moor until 2025.

The defender joined Burnley in January 2021 from Hastings, where he had been playing regular first team football since he was 16-years-old.

Ward is a centre-back by trade, but possesses the ability to move into midfield.
