Both Sedgmen and Doyle were announced as Robins riders for next season earlier in the week.
Returning to the club he was given his Elite League bow by back in 2010, Sedgmen rejoins the Robins' ranks a much more adept rider, according to boss Alun Rossiter.
Sedgmen was announced as a reserve rider along with Charles Wright, just days before the big news dropped that Aussie rider Jason Doyle was to join the club as number one rider for the coming campaign.
The Australian champion will join up with Sedgmen and Wright, along with recent addition Stefen Nielsen.
Doyle's arrival has coincided with Sedgmen's Elite League return, something the 23-year-old was particularly excited about.
Sedgmen said: "Jason has been outstanding in the last couple of seasons, and last year I think he was the rider that everyone was talking about.
“He is someone I think all riders can look to as a benchmark of what can be achieved by working very hard to get to the top.
“I’m delighted he has decided to come back to Swindon. He is an excellent number one and I think it gives us a good spearhead at the top end of our team," Sedgmen said.
