Snapped: Swindon Town V Tottenham Hotspur 16/07/13

Swindon Town drew 1-1 at home in their first pre-season game of the 2013-14 campaign. Town who played Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening, put in a great performance against the Premier League side. Birthday boy Gareth Bale opened the scoring for Spurs in the first half of the match, pulling down a neat pass from Gylfi Sigurdsson before hammering a trademark left foot volley beyond the reach of goalkeeper Wes Foderingham. Despite Spurs best efforts it wasn't long before Swindon drew even, after a deflected shot was looped over Brad Friedel by Andy Williams.
