Snapped: Swindon Sport Foundation Awards

An awards ceremony took place over the weekend to honour Swindon's sporting heroes. The special event saw over twenty local clubs and individuals take home grants to assist with the costs involved with their sports. Amongst the winners were Jake Goodwin from Swindon Cricket Club who was awarded £500. The project is helping Jake with the substantial travel costs which cricket involves at his level. Pinehurst Netball Club (Seniors) also went home with a prize. They were awarded £1200 to maintain and increase participation by reducing playing costs.
