Snapped: Mark Cooper Announced as STFC Manager

Former AFC Telford boss, Mark Cooper has been confirmed as STFC's new manager. After a successful stint as assistant to Kevin MacDonald, the 44-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the club. Following Macdonald's departure in July, Cooper took temporary leadership of the club overseeing two wins from their opening four games of the new season. Chairman Jed McCrory commented; "We considered several candidates - all well qualified - but kept reverting back to Mark" The former Exeter City midfielder, started his managerial career at Tamworth before spells at Kettering, Peterborough and Darlington.
