At the Oasis Leisure Centre, on Saturday night, former Commonwealth Games champion; Jamie Cox made is long awaited return to the ring. With his sights set on the British light-middleweight title, Cox needed a comprehensive victory to bump himself up the rankings- The only thing that stood in his way was Frenchman Matiouze Royer. Over the three, six minute rounds the Swindon southpaw put in a mature and commanding performance in front of the home crowd, after the final bell sounded Cox was given a well deserved 60-55 decision.
