Rosco hoping for first away win as Swindon Robins travel to Wolverhampton

Swindon Robins boss Alun Rossiter has called on his side to earn their first away points of the season as they travel to Wolverhampton on Monday night for a 7.30pm race start.

The M&S Van Rental Robins will head to Monmore Green fresh off the back of a confidence-boosting 55-35 win over Coventry at the Abbey last Thursday.

However, the new-look Wolves also got their season off to a fine start with a 52-38 away win over the Bees at Brandon on Friday.

Rossiter knows the West Midlands outfit will pose a stern test – but he is hopeful his side can put in a strong performance.

Rossiter said: “It’s going to be tough, Wolverhampton had a great start at Coventry and with the way their team is set up they look very strong.

“We are going to have to be on the top of our game, but we are looking to go there and get something. If we could get a win that would be a bonus, but we are aiming for at least a point.”

Both sides will be at full strength for the meeting, with Wolves including former Robins’ rider Kyle Howarth at reserve and Mikkel Bech, who had a brief spell at the Abbey in 2011, at No.5.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Joonas Kylmakorpi, Sam Masters, Jacob Thorssell, Freddie Lindgren, Mikkel Bech, Max Clegg, Kyle Howarth.

SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Justin Sedgmen, Josh Grajczonek, Rohan Tungate, Nick Morris, Stefan Nielsen, Charles Wright.
