PRESS CONFERENCE LIVE: Peterborough United v Swindon Town

Follow along live as Michael Flynn speaks to the press ahead of Swindon Town travelling to Peterborough United in League Two. Total Sport's Joe Acklam reports live from Beversbrook.

11:43AM

I keep being teased into thinking the audio is getting better and then it drops out again. This concludes the live blog, apologies for it being a colossal shambles.

11:40AM

Michael Flynn on signings:

I won't be rushing into it. I will be looking at a few faces in training, which is tough because of fixtures. We are talking to one or two, but ideally I would like three.

11:37AM

I do apologise readers, but I can't make out a word Flynn is saying due to their internet connection. This just isn't going to work.

11:34AM

This is not going well as they keep breaking up.

11:32AM

If anyone has issues with the live blog today, please Tweet me as I am trying to work out if that was due to bad WiFi at Beversbrook or technical issues on our end.

11:31AM

I am into the Zoom meeting, we should hopefully be underway shortly.

11:26AM

Michael Flynn has never been knocked out of the League Cup or FA Cup in the first round before, but he hasn't been managing Swindon before and we all know how we get on in the cups. An interesting clash of which of those wins out.

11:22AM

After the first one it started to go better, so I didn't want to jinx it by updating again. But now let's get back to Swindon matters.

11:21AM

SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Up the s'house Lionesses.

11:14AM

A typically English beginning to the shoot-out.

11:11AM

Hello everyone. The build-up to Michael Flynn's first match in charge continues after Colchester United's new pitch couldn't handle the first game of the season. Cards on the table, I am not at Beversbrook today as I have been watching England struggle horrendously in the World Cup. Hopefully the penalties are done before I have to hop on the Zoom.
