PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 3-2 Stevenage

Swindon Town finally got their first home win of the season, in their fourth attempt, as they beat Stevenage 3-2, and Benjamin Wills has handed out his player ratings.

Lawrence Vigouroux: Swindon's number one did concede twice, but the first was unfortunate and the second was an unstoppable free-kick. Did not have a great deal to do aside from that - 6

Ben Purkiss: Town's right-back is still struggling to cement himself as the dependable defender Town need and at times today he was outdone down the left by Stevenage - 5

Dion Conroy (replaced by Chris Robertson '42): Conroy put in a good shift up until his unfortunate injury three minutes before the break. Town had a clean sheet until he came off and the Swindon support will be praying his hamstring twinge is nothing too serious - 6

Olly Lancashire: Captain Lancashire has had a difficult time of it so far at the County Ground, with a few conceded penalties and an own goal to boot. Today, however, he was assured in defence for the majority and started to show why Dave Flitcroft trusted in him to be skipper - 6

Chris Hussey: Hussey's set piece prowess has been no secret ever since he arrived and Swindon's first goal came about when his corner picked out Norris. Was booked, however - 6

Kellan Gordon (replaced by Kaiyne Woolery '83): One of the two Derby County loanees currently at Town was really impressive on what was his first start for his temporary club. A cross of his led to a penalty via handball and Stevenage's left-back was relieved when he was subbed for Kaiyne Woolery late on - 8

Timi Elsnik (replaced by Amine Linganzi '71): The other Derby loanee put in his best display so far since his arrival. The young Slovenian was so assured in midfield and did not look like he was only playing his fourth professional match - 8

James Dunne: Back in the line-up following an illness and did well to play the full 90, even if he did not do anything significant. Luke Norris sung his praises at full-time though, saying his on-pitch leadership is crucial to Town success - 6

Paul Mullin Not Paul Mullin's best outing for Swindon but his workrate was at the same level of any other time he has donned Robin red - 5

Keshi Anderson: Swindon's standout player in the first half that had a litter of top performers. Faded a tad in the second half but that takes nothing away from his opening 45 and his goal that was his first for the club and vital for the hosts - 8

Luke Norris: Deserved man-of-the-match. Neither of his goals were particularly special, a toe-poked goal from a corner and a penalty, but as well as picking up a brace the striker with a new lease of life was testing Stevenage keeper consistently and assisted Anderson's goal to boot - 9

Substitutes:

Chris Robertson (on for Conroy '42): Arguably at fault for Stevenage's first goal and had a few nervy moments on top of that. Needs to improve if Conroy's injury is worse than first feared -

Amine Linganzi (on for Elsnik '71): Came on as Swindon looked to shut up shop and did ok but struggled to efficiently read the game at times -

Kaiyne Woolery (on for Gordon '83): Did not really have enough minutes to make a mark. Does seem to be struggling on the wing though, which he can play, as well as his centre forward role -
