PLAYER RATINGS: Swindon Town 2-3 Colchester United

Total Sport's reporter Benjamin Wills has reviewed the Swindon select that fell to a fifth defeat on the bounce in all competitions.

Lawrence Vigouroux: A strange night for Vigouroux in some aspects. Not for the first time there can be no real complaints about the goals he let in, but every shot he did face ended up in the back of his net - 5

Ben Purkiss (replaced by Kyle Knoyle '45) Swindon's right-back was his usual self, limited to pumping balls down the line - 5

Olly Lancashire: Swindon's captain was just as culpable as anyone else with poor marking that led to the trio of Colchester goals - 3

Matt Preston: Started well but dropped off as Town started to lose their control defensively - 4

Ellis Iandolo: Given man-of-the-match by sponsors which left more than a few quizzical. Did ok in a left-back role he is still getting used to, but the award was puzzling -

Amine Linganzi: Failed to control the midfield as part of Swindon's two - 3

Matty Taylor: Played a part in both of Town's goals with set pieces but Swindon relying on them for goals needs to stop. Taylor also has difficulty controlling the park in open play - 5

Donal McDermott (replaced by Kellan Gordon '67): A keen runner as he gets himself back to full fitness, and was bright with the odd cross, was never going to complete the game - 5

Paul Mullin: Another determined performance from Mullin but with no pay-off other than a decent effort early on - 5

Keshi Anderson (replaced by Johnny Goddard '45): Was not very effective on the left of Swindon's front three, which is not overly surprising considering he is usually a 10 or a striker - 4

Kaiyne Woolery: Woolery was determined to prove a point on Friday night and did so sufficiently, as he scored just his second league goal for the club -

Substitutions:

Kyle Knoyle: Got 45 minutes on his league debut but could not offer much to the game at right-back -

Johnny Goddard: Only managed one attempt at goal. It went a fair bit wide -

Kellan Gordon: Scored Town's second with an impressive strike -
