PFA issue statement regarding unpaid wages at Swindon Town

This morning the Professional Footballers Association have issued a statement outlining their involvement in the 60% payment to Swindon Town players following the failure of wage payments for the month of June. Read their update obtained by Total Sport Swindon's Ryan Walker below to find out more.

The PFA, working in conjunction with the EFL, has secured a 60% payment from Swindon Town against outstanding wages for June 2021.

After discussions with the EFL and the League Two club, the agreement has led to the players receiving a proportion of last month’s salary from parachute payments. 

We are hopeful that the outstanding balance will be paid soon, as work continues to resolve the remaining issues.
