Website 0330 002 1993Full-time: Swindon 2 Crawley 1
90- Jephcott flicks RHM in behind, he was under a lot of pressure and managed to get his shot off, which was pushed behind. 2-1.
90- Tomlinson with a lovely run through the middle, he dropped the ball off to Jephcott who hit it really well, but just wide. 2-1.
90- Shade whips in a fine corner, that Brewitt meets but headed well wide. 2-1.
90- Four minutes added on *Obligatory where did he get that from*. 2-1.
85- Huge save from Brynn. Lovely football from Crawley saw them work the ball well down the left before it was cut back to Fellows but from point blank range, Brynn made the save. 2-1.
81- Finally they do it.
OFF: Gladwin
ON: Grant
78- As it turned out, Crawley didn't make their sub. 2-1.
77- OFF: Austin; Gladwin
ON: Shade; Grant
74- I have just looked up that that free-kick was Jake Cain's first ever senior goal. 2-1.
The attendance today is 10,450, with 528 of those being from Crawley.
71- OFF: Cain
ON: Darcy
69- Cain whips in a corner that Brewitt gets to on the six-yard box, but doesn't get enough behind it and Addai saves. 2-1.
66- SAVED! RHM opts to take it and hit it hard and low, but Addai guessed right and pulled off the save. 2-1.
65- Swift counter sees Jephcott set RHM in, he was chopped down and it is a penalty. 2-1.
65- Penalty to Swindon. 2-1.
65- Crawley with a contender for worst corner you will ever see there as it flies miles over everyone and back out for a goal kick. 2-1.
61- A well taken penalty from Dom Telford, who sent Brynn the wrong way and tucked his shot well into the corner. 2-1.
Goal. Swindon 2 Crawley 1 (Telford 61' PEN)
61- Penalty to Crawley after Khan dived into a challenge. He could be in some bother, but won't be sent off. 2-0.
59- The game is largely settling back into the pattern of the first half where not much happened before the goals. 2-0.
51- Swindon attack quickly through Hutton, who slides in RHM, whose radar is off and he slices wide of the mark. 2-0.
50- Tilley takes a free-kick from distance which Brynn does well to save. Something about this ground and final day free-kicks. 2-0.
47- OFF: Wakeling, Lavinier
ON: Jephcott, Tomlinson
47- Cain is having some fun out there now. He makes a great run down the side of the box and looked to finish across Addai but it was well saved. A minute later a ball was knocked down in the box to him and he fired just over. 2-0.
46- Ben Gladwin gets us back underway. 0-0.
The players are back out.
Flynn is doing some strong rabble rousing on the pitch, speaking better than any permanent manager here since John McGreal.
Half-time: Swindon 2 Crawley 0
Two minutes added on
43- UNBELIEVABLE. Jake Cain from 30 yards out elects to have a shot with a free-kick and slams it into the top corner, giving Addai no chance. 2-0.
GOAL! Swindon 2 (Cain 43') Crawley
41- It had to be him. Jacob Wakeling flicked a header on to send Austin through on the 'keeper and he made no mistake, lashing the ball beyond Addai. 1-0.
GOAL!!!!! Swindon 1 (Austin 41') Crawley 0
37- Gladwin gets caught in possession and Swindon have a 3 v 4, but make nothing of it. All of these must have been told they do or don't have contracts already. 0-0.
35- Nothing is really happening. There haven't really been any chances, not the frenetic mess I was hoping for. 0-0.
28- Swindon are now on their third formation of the day as Cain has pushed forwards to make it a 4231. 0-0.
26- A swift counter from Lavinier and then he played a fine pass in behind for RHM, from a tight angle he forced Addai into a save. Corner to Swindon. 0-0.
24- Khan has been booked for a foul on James Tilley in the corner. 0-0.
20- What should have been the best goal this ground has ever seen is denied. Khan turns the corner and drives forward, plays into Austin who flicks the ball first time into Wakeling, he tees up Cain, but he was crowded out. 0-0.
18- Dom Telford needlessly tries to fight Gunning after the ball went out, it was not a good plan as he looked very small when Mad Gav squared up. Somehow no one got booked. 0-0.
16- The 41212 has quickly changed back to a 433, but the forward line are not coming back to defend, so Austin, RHM, and Wakeling stay forward for any potential counters. 0-0.
15- Crawley fans coming out with some great Lindsey material, Swindon fans are not responding. This does not have an end-of-season feel around the ground. 0-0.
13- Swindon have wrestled control back now and are stopping Crawley getting out. It feels like there is instantly a lot more movement off the ball and players are moving it quicker. 0-0.
10- A lovely corner routine from Crawley sees a dummy leave the ball for Gladwin to shoot on the edge of the area, but it is blocked behind for another corner. The following corner swings onto the bar and over. 0-0.
9- I am not convinced the narrow formation Swindon are going with is working as Crawley are getting a lot of space out wide for their full-backs. 0-0.
7- First chance as Swindon counter quickly to see RHM find a bit of space, but on the bounce he can't get enough power on his shot. 0-0.
6- Gunning has played a small curveball as Swindon seem to be playing a 442 diamond with Austin playing as the 10 and Lavinier as an inverted wing-back like Zinchenko. 0-0.
4- A clear pass back has just been missed. The Crawley defender plays the ball back to Addai, who picks it up but the ref says it was fine. I love indirect free-kicks, why can't we just have one? 0-0.
1- We are underway for the final time in League Two this season. 0-0.
Scott Lindsey immediately went to clap the Crawley fans.
The players are on their way out.
It is a little disappointing for this to be the final game of the season and the weather be pretty awful. But I mostly feel for Stevenage fans who are celebrating their promotion away at Barrow.
Swindon have been heavily outmatched in terms of togetherness, the whole Crawley squad is currently in a huddle.
Jamie Day and Tomi Adeloye now have an emotional embrace on the field, the list players Day got on with is confusing me.
Tomi Adeloye is in attendance today, presumably looking to show Flynn that he is in fact committed to Swindon.
As the Swindon players came out onto the pitch, Ronan Darcy went over and hugged Jamie Day, who was stood by the dug-out. The only Town player to acknowledge him.
Sol Brynn today will become the first Swindon 'keeper since Wes Foderingham to play in every game of the season.
They could also be good, that would work. I just think if you put a 15-year-old on the pitch they will probably get signed no matter who they are. Think Luke Matheson.
Disappointingly it would appear that Gunning has decided to play more than one midfielder, so nothing too radical today. We also have two youth players on the bench, who are hopefully on there to be sold like Marcus Ifil was.
Dion Conroy is the only change from Crawley's draw with Walsall, so it looks like it should still be 44 f'ing 2

As well as being joined by a new manager today, there will be an old manager in the opposite technical area as Scott Lindsey returns to the County Ground. He is also joined by several other old faces in Ben Gladwin, Dion Conroy, and Anthony Grant.
Good morning everyone. It is a new dawn for Swindon as Mike Flynn has been appointed as the new manager. Unfortunately, we have to play one final game in the league this season to get there.
