MATCH REPORT: Basingstoke Bison 4-1 Swindon Wildcats

The Swindon Wildcats left Basingstoke without a point as they lost 4-1 against the Bison.

Aaron Connolly, of Basingstoke, broke the deadlock at 4:57 when he was assisted by Rene Jarolin and Jan Jarabek.

Jarolin doubled Basingstoke's lead at 26:12 after being assisted by Ciaran Long and Dan Lackey.

The night got worse before it got better for Swindon at 34:34 with Long getting on the scoresheet following an assist by Jarabek.

Pride, even in a low capacity, was restored at 55:58 by Stevie Whitfield, but it was short-lived as Basingstoke netted a fourth.

For his second of the night, Jarolin scored Basingstoke's fourth at 59:40 with another assist from Long.
