KAINE KESLER HAYDEN JOINS SWINDON TOWN
KAINE KESLER HAYDEN has joined Swindon Town on a season-long loan from Premier League side Aston Villa as Head Coach Ben Garner looks to reinforce his side ahead of the opening weekend of the League Two season.
Having recently signed a five-year contract at the Birmingham-based outfit, the 18-year-old arrives at SN1 on his first senior loan deal having made his first-team debut for Villa against Liverpool in last season’s third-round FA Cup tie.
Plying his trade as a right-sided player, Kesler captained Aston Villa’s Under-18 side to the FA Youth Cup title last season, beating Liverpool 2-1 in the final.
Speaking to the Swindon Town official website, Director of Football at the club, Ben Chorley, said:
“We’re extremely grateful to Adam Henshall and Mile Jedinak for their help in making this signing possible.
"They have been in constant contact with myself and Head Coach Ben Garner, whose relationship with Mile played a big factor in Kaine joining.
“Kaine coming into the building goes with the structure and model we are trying to develop here at Swindon Town Football Club. I’d like to wish Kaine every success in a Swindon shirt.”
