Jason Doyle suffers suspected broken shoulder in Speedway Grand Prix

Swindon Robins rider Jason Doyle's round 10 of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Poland ended early as he suffered a suspected broken shoulder in Torun.

During heat three Chris Harris lost control of his bike on a sharp bend and collided with Doyle who rolled at speed into the hoardings which caused immediate concern.

The ambulance team were called within seconds as Doyle led on the track in agony before he was taken away to the hospital with what is believed to be a broken shoulder, but he remained conscious.

Doyle had to retire from the Torun Grand Prix due to the collision, however Harris was fine but was excluded from the heat.

Chris Holder, who spoke to fellow Australian Doyle after the crash said: "He was complaining that his shoulder had popped out so hopefully that's all it is and it if has popped out, hopefully it's not broken.

"I think he was in a fair bit of pain so hopefully he can get himself fixed up."
