Jamie Sendles-White receives Northern Ireland u21 call up

Swindon Town defender Jamie Sendles-White will be soon be temporarily departing the County Ground for national duty, after receiving a call up to the Northern Ireland under 21s camp.

The versatile defender, who has racked up a string of impressive performances since being thrust into the Swindon Town XI, has been duly rewarded with international recognition. 

Sendles-White recieved his debut immediately after puttting pen to paper on a Swindon deal, following a late injury to Raphael Rossi-Branco prior to last month's home fixture against Blackpool.

The former Chelsea trialist took to the Town set up like a duck to water, and was rewarded with praise from new first team manager Luke Williams. 

Sendles-White makes tthe Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for their forthcoming UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Scotland in Glasgow.
 
The Town defender will join up with his international teammates in the wake of the first team’s televised clash with Wigan Athletic on Good Friday and will miss Monday’s fixture at Scunthorpe United.
