Frazer Blake-Tracy said he has been frustrated by Swindon's form due to the quality of League Two

Frazer Blake-Tracy said that Swindon Town’s struggles this season have been all the more frustrating due to the quality of League Two. Total Sport’s Joe Acklam spoke to the defender after defeat against Stockport.

Jacob Wakeling was sent off after 45 seconds against Stockport as Swindon fell to a 1-0 defeat against the side sat 5th in League Two.

Blake-Tracy said that the red card was all the more disappointing as he felt Swindon could have gone toe-to-toe with County with 11 players on the pitch.

He said: “We have nine games left, so that is nine more opportunities to try and get ourselves towards the play-offs, as cliché as it sounds, you go on to the next one.

“No disrespect to the league, but I don’t think the standard is that good.

“I looked at our starting 11 today and I was disappointed that we couldn’t play them [Stockport] 11 versus 11, because I was really thinking we were going to give them a good game today.

“Apart from the Leyton Orient squad, I don’t really look at anyone else and think they are a good team and we can’t compete with them.

“Looking at us, I think everyone needs to sort their own ship out, make sure they are mentally good and that you are doing everything you possibly can on the training pitch and away from football.

“And then you can bring that into the group because we are a team and we have nine games left to make something happen.

“We know that there is no transfer window, we are going to get suspensions and we are going to get injuries, but that is it now.

“Whatever is in that changing room is not changing, so we have to buck our ideas up and go and win football games or we are not going to achieve anything.”
