Frazer Blake-Tracy revealed the Swindon players had a bust up after defeat against Stockport

Frazer Blake-Tracy revealed that Swindon players had a big disagreement in the changing rooms after their 1-0 defeats against Stockport County. Total Sport’s Joe Acklam spoke with the defender after the match.

Ryan Croasdale scored on the counter attack after Blake-Tracy and Remeao Hutton had a mix-up taking a free-kick in the County half to undo ten-man Swindon’s best efforts.

Blake-Tracy said that on multiple occasions this season there have been bust-ups in the changing room after games, but that he preferred that as it showed how much winning mattered to the players.

He said: “You guys don’t see what goes in the changing rooms, but there have been much bigger disagreements than the one that happened today.

“There have been a few times when people have had to be separated because of how much we want to win games of football.

“It was a genuine mistake by me and Huts [Remeao Hutton], maybe we should put the ball in the box, maybe I should have put in a better delivery, or maybe he should put the ball in when I gave it to him.

“We are both taking accountability for a genuine mistake, but you guys don’t see what goes on in the changing room, there are a few honest words that get said.

“If everyone ones to go in and just accept betting beaten every week and not say anything about it then I would be more concerned, because what is the point of playing football?

“I enjoy that part of disagreements because you need to take accountability and you need to care about the job that you are doing.

“We are grown men, we had a disagreement in the changing room, but before he [Hutton] left, I shook his hand and we are fine, it’s done and dusted.”

Blake-Tracy also spoke about all of the work he has been doing since going down injured against Salford City, to make sure he was back as quickly as possible.

He said: “My body is not in a great way after that, I was cramping up about 70-75 minutes, all of the little knocks and niggles that you forgot that you had start coming back, so I wasn’t in a good way.

“Ever since I got my injury at Salford, I don’t think I have had a day off because I just wanted to be back with the boys playing football, which is something I love doing.

“When I got the injury, I just set myself the target of getting back as soon as possible, and maybe I am back ahead of schedule, but that is just testament to the work I did away from football.”
