The Countdown Begins for Bath in Fashion 2014

The wait is almost over for Bath in Fashion 2014, and with a train journey of under 30 minutes it’s the perfect event for all the fashion lovers of Swindon.

The much anticipated fashion event hits Bath from the 3rd to the10th of May and will host a whole series of fashion inspired talks, workshops, shows and, best of all, will welcome some of the industry's most chic and stylish faces.

The week-long programme celebrates the creative energy in the British fashion industry, and this year they are taking a nostalgic look back with BIBA as they reach their 50th birthday.

Special guest will include Mary Homer of Topshop, BIBA’s Barbara Hulanicki, Meadham Kirchhoff in conversation with Sarah Mower and other famous faces.

The event will showcase Summer ’14 fashions on specialist catwalks at the glamorous Bath Assembly Rooms. These exclusive shows will be produced by John Walford, from London Fashion Week, with top stylist Rebekah Roy.

Highlights of the event will include The Fashion Museum’s unveiling of ‘Dress of the Year 2013’, picked by top fashion blogger Susie Lau, a ‘Fashionista Tea’ at Bath Abbey Hotel and an ‘AFOM Makeup Masterclass’ at the Style Pavilion on Stall Street.

For those that love to shop, Bath will also be hosting ‘Get Out and Shop: Bath Life Fashion’s Night Out’ - where you can enjoy an exclusive evening of retail therapy, some of the very best high street stores and a selection of Bath’s best independent boutiques.
