WebsiteAlongside attractions and music, there will be a display of over 30 vintage cars and motorbikes, dance classes, plus fashion shows, and make-up and hair demonstrations.
Steve Fawke, General Manager of The Brunel said: “We’re expecting the dance teach-ins to be really popular and a lot of fun. There’s no charge for taking part and we hope that shoppers will stop a while and join in the fun.”
There will be entertainment outside the centre too with busking sessions from Ode and The BeBops who will be outside Argos in Wharf Green from noon on Saturday, plus Josie and The Outlaw who will be situated outside of Debenhams from 1pm on Saturday.
The popular band will be busking to raise money for Charity Goldenhar Family Support UK. Throughout Sunday 2nd March there will be regular busking from 11.30am outside of Argos in Wharf Green and at the Water Feature on the junction of Regent Street and Canal Walk with bands and performers such as Imperial G Men, Charlie Anne, The Taillights and Roadhouse Roosters.
On the evening of Saturday 1st March there will be a family-friendly ticket-only live music event starting at 6.30pm. Bands performing include: Sugar Belles, Josie and The Outlaw, Hot Tin Roofs and Gene Gamble and the Shufflers. Tickets are now on sale for, available from the Centre Management Offices, The Brunel at £5 per ticket or £15 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children under 16).
