Havelock Square Market set to Return in February

Due to the series of bad weather that Swindon and the rest of the country has been experiencing over the last few weeks, inSwindon BID Company and organisers of the Havelock Square Farmers Market have decided that the market will reconvene from the 27th February 2014.

The decision to open the market in February was in response to the buying trend of shoppers since the bad weather has set in.

 “There is never an easy time on the farm, but the wet months of winter are exceptionally tough,” Commented Market Manager, Kardien Gerbrands.

“With this in mind a decision was made to give those committed to the market a breather and to return at the onset of spring.”

“It is early days for the market and we are committed to making the market a long term success, despite a string of farmers markets failing in the town centre over the years,” Rebecca Rowland, BID Manager of inSwindon BID Company.

“We will return in February with renewed vigour and do our utmost to make the market a success.”

The market will return to Havelock square on February the 27^th and will run every Thursday throughout 2014.
