Swindon Skater Hockey Star's Great Britain Call-Up

Star player for the Swindon Flames skater hockey team, Hannah Archer, is delighted to have received a a call-up to the Great Britain side for the World Championships in Los Angeles this July.

Archer will travel with the squad for the summer event, having gone through a scrupulous selection process in 2012. 

This won't be the 20-year-old's first time on the international scene, having also been in the squad for the 2011 tournament in Italy.

Expectations from the talented skater are high, and she believes the team can exceed expectations and return to the UK with a medal. 

However, although the sport is growing in popularity and revenue, the competitors have to fund the expenses themselves, and as such, and appeal for local sponsorship is being made.

The Swindon Flames player will require £1,500 to cover the cost of travel, expenses, and kit. In return, any local sponsor will recieve branding on the kit, and exposure through local media outlets.
