Snapped: Arkell's Brewery Celebrates 170th Birthday With Open Day & Beer Festival

Swindon’s Arkell’s Brewery threw open its doors to the public on Saturday September 7th for a day of beer tasting, brewery tours and live music. The celebrations, which took place at Kingsdown Brewery, saw over 1200 beer lovers from across Swindon, head to one of the UK's last few functioning Victorian breweries to sample a thirst-quenching array or ales, ciders and beers. When they we're guzzling down pints, punters also had the opportunity to take in displays of working steam engines, classic cars and even had the chance to hop aboard the Arkell’s-sponsored vintage bus.
