Snapped: Olympic Opening Ceremony Celebrations in Wharf Green

The worlds eyes may have been on London, but Swindon attracted hundreds for the town centre's very own Olympic Opening Celebrations! Swindon Borough Council organised an evening of entertainment and activities for all ages including live music and dance, a bungee run, sumo suits and jousting! The crowds gathered around the BBC Big Screen from 9pm to watch the live feed of the ceremony from London.
