Join Kelmscott Manor for a month of activities exploring themes of creativity, sustainability and repairability to celebrate our project to conserve the Manor’s historic tapestries.
- Saturday 3rd May - Drop in Workshop: Rag Rugging
Learn the traditional skill of rag rugging with our team of volunteers.
Free, all ages and abilities welcome, drop-in between 12-4pm.
- Saturday 10th May - Drop in Workshop: Natural Dyeing with Kate Turnbull
Join natural dyer Kate Turnbull as she recreates colours from our tapestry’s using natural dyes.

- Saturday 24th May - Maker in Residence Demonstration: Skeined Willow Weaving
Join our Maker in Residence, Sarah Le Breton, for her first demonstration of the season.

- Thursday 29th May - Drop in Workshop: Weaving
Try your hand at Weaving with our team of volunteers.

- Saturday 31st May - Repair Café with The Lechlade Repair Café
Chat to volunteers from the Repair Café as they repair appliances in need of some care and attention.
If you live within a 5 mile radius of Kelmscott Manor and have a small household item or appliance that needs repairing, such as a radio, kettle, hairdryer, table lamp etc. please send an email to [email protected] to pre book your place.
