Bistro Les Chats Will Say Au Revoir to Old Town at the end of the Month

After 5 years in business, Swindon's leading French eatery, Bistro Les Chats will close its doors for good.

The popular French eaterie opened in October 2010 with the aim of bringing fantastic French food to Swindon in a relaxed atmosphere with reasonable prices to match. 

Over the years the menus have ranged from the classic to the modern, offering the flavours and cuisine of France from the butter and apples of Normandy to the courgettes and peppers of Provence. 

Following the rehoming and expansion of its sister establishment, Los Gatos, restaurant owner Phil Saunter has decided to focus all of his efforts into his thriving tapas bar.

From October, Los Gatos will be opening additional hours and increasing the availability of some of its dishes. Paella will now be on offer every Sunday lunchtime, and the restaurant will also be open for tapas and drinks on Monday evenings too.

Speaking about Bistro Les Chats closure, Phil Saunter commented: "With 5 years remaining on our lease, we are still in discussion about its future, but whatever that is, we are confident that there will soon be another welcome addition to Swindon's increasingly diverse and wonderfully thriving restaurant scene."

Bistro Les Chats will close after dinner on Friday 25th September.
