Swindon sign Brighton youngster Jesse Starkey on 18-month contract

Highly-rated Brighton prospect Jesse Starkey has signed for Swindon Town on an 18-month contract.

Starkey, 21, is a centre midfielder who is yet to play a professional senior match, having spent time in the development squads at Chelsea and Brighton.

He joins for an undisclosed fee and will be at the club until the summer of 2018.

Starkey joined the Brighton development squad in 2013 and has represented England at under-18 level.

Although primarily a centre midfielder, Starkey can also play at left wing and left-back.
